After graduating at the National Conservatory in Parma by Jenni Anvelt, Sandra Foschiatto

attended her formal vocal training with Lella Cuberli and Katia Ricciarelli.

She won a scholarship in order to studying at the Modena Music Academy with

Luciano Pavarotti, Mirella Freni and Raina Kabaivanska.

 

She has made her opera’s debut in Rossini’s “La cambiale di matrimonio” and

Pergolesi’s “La serva padrona” with Alfredo Mariotti, recorded by the Italian TV RAI 3.

 

After that, Sandra has been selected by Mirella Freni for an opera production

at the Teatro Comunale di Modena (Gnecco’s “La prova di un’opera seria”). 

 

She sang at the Prague Estates Theatre the role of Donna Elvira in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”

for the International Prague Summer Festival with the Prague Chamber Orchestra.

The successful production has been replayed for two summers and recorded by the Czech National Broadcasting

 

She performed at the Gars Opera Festival (Austria) in the role of Zerlina in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”.  At the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza she sang the Role title “Zaide” in the Mozart’s Singspiel, recorded for a documentary by the Tokyo Broadcasting

 

Sandra has sung in several opera tour productions in Italy with performances of Violetta (“La Traviata)”, Gilda (“Rigoletto”), Norina (“Don Pasquale”), Adina (“L’elisir d’amore”) and Nedda (“Cavalleria rusticana”).

 

She sang the Mozart’s “Requiem”at the Clementinum Praha with the Praga Sinfonietta and Haydn’s “Die Schöpfung” (“The creation”) with the Orchestra MFI and the Camerata Vocale Innsbruck.

 

She has also made recitals as soloist and as chamber musician at the Teatro del Bibiena in Mantova (Concerts cycle Amici della musica– SKY TV recording), for the Festival Torino Settembre Musica (with the ensemble of the Teatro Regio), at the Tallinn National Theater (Estonia), the Taiwan University Concert Hall, the Vienna Hofmannstahl Haus (Zyclus Wiener Kammerkonzerte), in Cologne (Bedburger Schlosskonzerte, Germany) and in Basel (Concerts Cycle at the Italian Consulate, Switzerland ) as well. 

With I Musici Veneziani she took part to several Concerts tours in Asia (Korea in 2017 and 2018 and China in 2019).

In 2021/22 she is singing Belinda in Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” at the Scuola Grande dei Carmini in Venice.


She held a vocal interpretation workshop at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2021.
